PDSA
Summerwood Veterinary Surgery is a PetAid Practice working with the PDSA as a charitable veterinary service to clients who are pre-registered with them.
Registered PetAid clients are entitled to receive, free of charge, veterinary attention within the scope of the service for the pet they nominate. Clients are eligible to register for PetAid if they live within the defined surgery boundary and are in receipt of council tax or housing benefits. Documentation of proof of eligibility must be provided, single person discount or council tax exemption do not qualify. Please telephone our staff on 01495 222383 for advice or to check whether you are entitled to register.
NOTE Certain veterinary services are not covered by PetAid and must be paid for at the time of treatment.
Eligible clients can only nominate one animal, which must be a companion animal normally kept in the home or in a hutch. Registration of exotic pets, such as reptiles and invertebrates is at our discretion.
Registered clients, who continue to be eligible, must re-apply for registration when reminded to do so by the PDSA, normally six weeks before registration runs out. We also issue reminders to ensure that your registration will continue.
